Silver Sea is the collaborative brainchild started by musicians Jim Smith and David Payne. Formed in 2009 as a project to create expressive and beautiful music, Silver Sea music has been featured in commercials and videos. Mostly electronic, they focus on using unique live instruments, acoustic guitars, analogue vintage synths, among other things to create a unique and ownable sound. Dave is the man on guitar, and occasional piano while Jim works on the synths, beats and programming. Together they form a genre that could be called acoustic-electronica.
